Profile

Rafael began his marketing and business development career as lead market researcher at a digital marketing agency. After getting a taste of the marketing world, he then pursued a marketing lead position in the fintech industry, parlaying that experience into positions at both start-ups and large corporations such as Byte Media Group and The Home Depot. Rafael realized his passion for creativity and numbers early on, completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in both Marketing and Finance from Ryerson University.

Rafael implements GrowthPoint’s marketing and business development strategies, including the creation of content and promotional material, completing brand analyses, and driving client acquisition & management. Rafael’s marketing and financial background allows him to understand the necessary marketing research and implementation plans to improve our clients’ business development, brand and overall marketing strategies. He specializes in the Tech, Manufacturing and Professional Service industries.

When Rafael is not reading a book, he is either playing soccer, basketball or going for a run. His ideal weekend includes watching soccer, going to the lake, fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoys writing, sketching and wood-carving in his spare time.
